We have had a quiet year this year - just ticking along with our usual weekly meeting.
Events
visited by members included the Playford Ball at Sedgewick Park, Shoreham monthly dances, Pulborough workshops and Cream Tea
Dances.
Our club produced a couple more callers during 2017 - consequently we have a greater variety of dances - sometimes danced perfectly! Again this year some of us went to the SusFA Playford Ball; and others enjoyed different events at other clubs and taking part in the annual folk festival here in Bognor Regis. Elizabeth Munday and John Portlock came to share their expertise and officiate at our parties.
In our club President's words "the actual membership changes as it always must do"; we were so sad to lose
long term members in 2016, but happily we have welcomed several new members.
Some of us went to Sedgewick Park -
rather like stepping back in time. We also took part in the Southdowns Folk Festival. We held a summer dance (in memory of
Peter Hopkins) and finished with a Christmas party.
