Willingdon International Folk Dance Group is an ideal group to learn international folk dancing. The first part of the session is set at a general level, taking into account the ability of the group on the day. Hence beginners and visitors are always anticipated and welcome. The second part (3:30 - 4:00) is for more difficult dances for those who want to attempt something more complicated and/or energetic.

Our repertoire is mostly Balkan, Israeli and similar dances, with the odd couple dance thrown in. As a result there is something for everyone. The cost is £3 for the first part or £4 if you wish to do the advanced part as well.

We have close links with the other East Sussex clubs and we organise an annual Mini Dance Festival. Directions: The hall is just off the A2270 between Polegate and Eastbourne. Coming from Eastbourne, turn left at the traffic lights at the top of the hill after the Willingdon Roundabout. Coming from Polegate, drive on down to the roundabout and come back up. The hall is just at the corner on the left side.
